Before the '96 X Games, Patrick and I trained for a month at Deland.  We had around 120 jumps together by the end of June, the beginning of the competition.  A couple weeks before the games, we trained at the Ranch in Gardiner, NY, and at Carolina Sky Sports in North Carolina.  It was a great journey.  An experience I wouldn't trade.
